In recent years Auriculotherapy, the innovative, neuroscience based sub-specialty, originating in France and Germany, has gained status internationally. Originally derived from ear acupuncture, advances in neurophysiology have provided increasing evidence for its functionality and supports its status as a definitive medical speciality.
