Integrating Functional Medicine with TCM: Adrenal Fatigue

Adrenal fatigue is the foundation for a wide variety of health concerns for patients forty and older. Problems caused by adrenal fatigue can include low thyroid, low immune function, blood sugar regulation, and fatigue. Engage in an in-depth exploration of adrenal fatigue by examining the causes, its consequences on the endocrine system in Western physiology, diagnosis with lab saliva testing, and various Oriental medicine approaches to diagnosis and differentiation. Gain confidence by familiarizing yourself with the therapeutic use of Chinese herbal products and formulas for different adrenal fatigue patterns, as well as acupuncture approaches offered in various Chinese and Japanese systems. |
