(AM) Forensic Documentation:
You suspect a signature is forged, a fax was phony or that medical records have been altered. When do you call a document examiner or do you? What information does a document examiner need in order to render an expert opinion and what are the limitations? What are the latest scientific tools and techniques? Document examiners have been used to provide opinion evidence in many types of cases including fraud, forgery, uttering, employment and professional misconduct cases. Ms. Kruger will address these questions, as well as strategies to aid in resolving questionable fraud cases.

(PM): Opioid Abuse: This afternoon session is intended to provide an update on what prescription drugs are currently being diverted and sold on the street. This session will also explore the effects of these substances, current trends, and examine the issues from commercial, community and law enforcement perspective.
