Introduction to the Kiiko Matsumoto Style

of JAPANESE ACUPUNCTURE

                           50 hours of Theory
                          50 hours of Clinic

Wonder what makes our Japanese Acupuncture course so unique?

In addition to offering 50 hours of theory in Japanese Acupuncture, students will also receive 50 hours of hands on clinical training treating patients independently, coming up with their own diagnosis and doing all their own needling. This experience and opportunity is vital in truly understand the intricacy of the art of Japanese Acupuncture.

About Japanese Acupuncture:

Japanese acupuncture refers to several acupuncture styles which have been developed or cultivated in Japan. Kiiko Style Acupuncture is one of these styles.  It is based on the work of many Japanese masters including Master Kiyoshi Nagano.

The goal of each treatment is to achieve the best results with the fewest needles. The result is a virtually painless treatment and the highest level of comfort – even for patients who are afraid of needles. A complete treatment that addresses both the “root” and “branch”. This means that we treat both the symptoms a patient describes and the cause of those symptoms.

Treatment tools:

In a Japanese acupuncture treatment, very thin needles and Moxa are used to stimulate points.
