COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Where do Western Physiology and Eastern energy systems of the body meet?  Meridians, Chakras, Taoist belts of tension, Ayurvedic Nadis and the ancient concepts of Kundalini have long been the medical sciences of the East, yet Western medicine has not yet made sense of the significance they have to our contemporary view of health and healing.

This four-hour workshop addresses the marriage between the two, to be found within the understanding of the nervous system as frequency, oscillation and wave. Western science now understands a limited range of the Electromagnetic spectrum (considered to be infinite) and that the universe is constructed of a field of energy it has yet to quantify.

Our planets revolve around each other with the same geometric precision through which nature expresses itself. The Fibbonaci sequence, the five platonic solids and the golden ratio are mathematical and geometric descriptions of the oscillating frequencies of our world, and this knowledge can be applied to the body as well.

‘Fractal Anatomy’ is a way of understanding the body through these geometric principles, and explores how the ancient Chinese could see a mirror of the body within the ear, face or hand. Studying the six divisions and Zang Fu more closely we can begin to see the depth to which they understood the body as frequency, and how we as therapists can better diagnose and treat our clients by adding these principles to our foundational knowledge.

As there is so much to cover in this topic, admission to the workshop also includes free access to an hour-long film tutorial, normally priced at $125.
